The Reverend Dr. James Kyle Page serves as the Senior Pastor of Building Community Church Inc. He is the fourth child born to the late Mr. Russell M. Page, Sr. and Mrs. Elizabeth E. Page, and a proud native of Norwalk, Connecticut. Pastor Page brings a lifetime of faith, service, and leadership to his pastoral calling.
With more than twenty years of dedicated community service, Pastor Page has faithfully served individuals and families through ministry, education, outreach, and mentorship. He was ordained into ministry alongside his wife, Michelle Y. Page, in 2011, marking a shared calling and commitment to serving God’s people together.
In 2024, Pastor Page accepted the pastoral call alongside his wife, Co-Pastor Michelle Y. Page, and together they founded Building Community Church Inc. The church was joyfully established on Pentecost Sunday, May 19, 2024, a day commemorating the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the early Church. This significant moment reflects the church’s mission of renewal, unity, empowerment, and Spirit-led community.
In addition to his pastoral ministry, Pastor Page brings experience in leadership, education, and organizational development. He holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Educational Leadership & Innovation from Wilmington University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Sacred Heart University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Albertus Magnus College.
Pastor Page also completed a Certificate in High Performance Leadership and Executive Leadership & Strategic Management from Cornell University. This training shapes his approach to ministry by blending spiritual conviction with thoughtful leadership, faithful stewardship, and a clear, forward-looking vision.
Dr. Page is married to the woman of his dreams, Mrs. Michelle Y. Page, and together they have been blessed with two daughters Morgan and Ashley and our son Marcus. The Page family is also joyfully blessed with many grandchildren.
Among the many gifts God has entrusted to Pastor Page, none are more meaningful to him than preaching and teaching. He has served as a professor of religious studies at Sacred Heart University and as a professor of accounting at Connecticut State Community College and other institutions. Over the years, he has preached, taught, and lectured in churches, conferences, retreats, and on university campuses.
At the heart of Pastor Page’s ministry is a sincere desire to encourage and empower people through a warm, enagaging, holistic, and faith-centered approach. His prayer is that all who encounter Building Community Church will experience God’s love, grow in faith, and find a place to belong and thrive.
